A number of businesses from the Lazio region in Italy, considered a
major centre of diplomatic and commercial activity, have shown interest
in the young, dynamic Vietnamese market.
More than 300 overseas Vietnamese (OV) businesses and diplomatic
missions in Europe, and trade counselors from various regional countries
attended the eighth Viet Nam Business Forum in Rome last week.
Vietnamese architect Vo Trong Nghia and Ambassador Extraordinary and
plenipotentiary Nguyen Hoang Long have been ed by the World
Economic Forum (WEC) as 2014 young global leaders (YGLs).
Local press have reported that Nguyen Hoang Long, chairman of the heavy
industry and property developer Vina Megastar Group, has been arrested
for fraudulently appropriating assets belonging to SeaBank.
